The Dark Knight was the best thing he'd ever done. I was ready to hate him for Brokeback Mountain, that movie was fucking terrible.

He was pretty good in A Knights Tale. I really liked that movie, every time he meets his blind dad I almost cry.

Not seen |The Dark Night but my opinion of Ledger isn't too great, as I'm entirely sick of my female friends saying he was hot in 10 Things I Hate About You (BULLSHIT), and Brokeback Mountain was God awful. The pacing of it was shocking.

Brokeback Mountain was God awful. The pacing of it was shocking. The pacing was terrible, the visuals were absolutely drab, the story was horridly and absurdly put-together, the ending was absolutely predictable, the music was boring... So many things about this movie were terrible.

They should have licensed it to the failures that make Parody Movies and title it Gay Movie. I really hope one of the producers doesn't see this post.

I'll probably respect Heath Ledger as an actor forever, because the Joker performance was so entertaining. It'll likely be a career-defining role for him. Kinda sucks that it can't be a breakout performance that paves the way to other exciting roles.
Gotta admit that I'm indifferent towards the rest of his work, though. He seems to be a good actor, but frankly I'm not interested in a lot of the movies he's starred in.

Brothers grimm was short, and lame. It was like one of them modern comic movies: slow to start, and rushed to end. Ledger's not a mentionworthy actor other than there's hope he banged the olsen twins... both of them.

His performance in Batman was beyond epic. He nailed the Joker perfectly and he set a new example for every actor out there. His other roles in other movies went from fantastic (A Knight's Tale and Lords Of Dogtown) to horrid (Brokeback mountain >_>).
It's a shame that he's gone now because he was a really cool actor and from what I've seen a good person too.

I've always liked how well Heath Ledger had such a wide range of skill.
His performance in The Dark Knight is hard to put a good description to simply put it was amazing. The Joker will never be the same without him.
A knights tale was one of my top 10 movies. Not just for his acting but it certainly added to it.
So he's gone in them two examples alone from being a Mainstream Typical Heartthrob hero. To one of the best played Villains of all time.
I'll end it here.
