I gave up on music for a week

It's weird. Background music in movies, tv, etc doesn't count obviously. Putting up a playlist in Winamp or my mp3 player became second nature to me though. (typed the thread then DATABASE ERROR HI RETYPING)

There wasn't any major push behind it; my girlfriend and I decided to try 'er out for a week, mainly because she didn't think I'd be able to last.
