Video Game Scenes

I have the dire urge to name the title "Openings/ Stuff in between/ Endings", but that's way too long. Keeping it simple is best.

I know for a fact that FFVIII is gonna be one of the first ones in the category "for best intro ever." However, I don't want competitions. What I'd love to know is what are your favorites? Which are the ones that left you a long lasting impression that you can't help but repeat that same sequence an infinite amount of times... Okay, maybe that's exaggerating it a bit. That's just me.

I'll start off with two.

Makes me want to play the game again, if only it wouldn't take so long to level up (not that I'm complaining, but I lack time.)

*sigh* It's depressing. Such a wonderful introduction if only the game didn't suck as it did. This is coming from a huge fan of the series. Only one month away for Resident Evil 5.

Funny that you mention FFVIII. I know you're talking about the Liberi Fatali scene, which is well done, but for some reason the opening credits left a better impression on me:

Really classy. Love the black and white, and how they introduce the characters, but don't quite reveal their faces. Always thought the subtlety made it a lot better than the Liberi Fatali sequence that plays after it.

And when talking about awesome openings, you can't go without mentioning Super Metroid. Amazing how creepy it manages to be as a SNES game:

Looks like I'm going with two openings as well. I'm sure there are some other cutscenes that are awesome that I could post, but I can't really think of any right now. :\

The Street Fighter IV opening is amazing and I'm honestly suprised it's that good. I'm going to upload it sometime in the near future.

I tend to put too much of my interest in the Dynasty Warriors series but I have to say this has been my all time favorite intro. I wish Zhao Yun was dead.
