Has anyone here heard about The Gaslight Anthem? I know I'm late (almost a year late, in fact), talking about their second (third?) album, but I didn't get around to listen to it until that video was posted on a blog I read daily:

YouTube - The Gaslight Anthem "Great Expectations" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2Leo9HSaGQ)

What do you guys think? Anyone heard the whole album?
(It's still on my to-do list.)

Yeah, these guys are awesome. I got to see them live when I was home on R and R. 59 Sound is their second album- best track on the disk is definitely the title song or "Casanova, baby"..."Here's looking at you kid" is good too!

I'm glad you brought this up, it would have slipped my mind otherwise- everyone should look into them though. I think they have a very accessible sound that anyone can dig into. A sort of revamped, 50's rock-a-billy wrapped in current alternative goodness.
