Hopefully the playlist works out okay; it's my first time uploading it. Uh, if there's any problems then let me know.
Enjoy the music.
Edit: Oh shi, in-post streaming!

Oy Kanji... the first song has got the name and artist listed. :O

Whoa, what the black? Wasn't like that when I first uploaded it... at least I don't think so. The mp3 itself shouldn't have any data in it, so I'm not sure how the site recognized the song. Tried uploading it again. Should be fixed now, hopefully.
Edit: weak, no such luck. I'm just gonna nuke track 01 on imeem, and leave a note to download it manually for now. Does anyone see artist information in their downloaded mp3?
We can only hope that dissonance makes a sudden heroic appearance to fix up the playlist.
Edit again: Mitzy fixed it up, go kiss her feet.

You know, you can embed these songs so that they can be played directly from this thread?

:golbat:
what
Took you 18 weeks to tell me this, woman? I knew there was discussion about it before, but I never knew we actually got something working in this regard.
Explain, somehow. And vote too if you haven't, s.o.b.

Okay folks, if I did things right then you should now be able to stream the tracks from the first post itself (see the bottom of the post). If this works for everyone, I guess it effectively kills the need for imeem. Hopefully makes it more convenient for new voters, too. Let me know if there are any problems.
Couldn't get the mp3s to stream in my usual browser (Google Chrome), but Internet Explorer worked like a charm.
WHAT AN EXCITING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY / JIBBER-JABBER WEEK.
By the way, I voted track 2. Some interesting, danceable tuneage, even though it didn't actually make me get up and dance like past Enigmaudio songs have. I loved the otherworldly ethnic background stuff going on throughout the track. Not an extremely inspiring song here, but there are some sublime moments scattered around it if you keep your ears open. So yeah, not a monumental victory.. it's just closest to my taste.
Track 1 was pretty good too, though I have to admit I'm not too big on solo piano music like this. Always liked that instrument better when it accompanies others in a vast soundscape. But, for what it's worth, this is a simple and charming track that I did enjoy listening to. That being said, it's not something that I see myself coming back to; it's just not my style.
The third song took a few listens to sink in properly, but I found myself trying to hum the melody AND the rhythm at the same time after it did. Obviously, this wasn't even possible but my brain just wanted to do it anyway. Even though I wasn't too impressed by the tune, I found it super addictive. Wouldn't be the first time I find myself embarassingly addicted to a song that I'm otherwise indifferent to (see mainstream shit), but it's far from a piece of guilty pleasure trash this time. Pretty cool~
Pretty much a close call between all three songs, though - for the first time in a while, we've got genuinely different music going in each song... and they're all good in their own right. The poll results speak for themselves. (sup 3-way tie at the time of this post)

I voted for the third song because it took me on an adventure.
Couldn't get the mp3s to stream in my usual browser (Google Chrome)...
I haven't used Google Chrome, but if they're trying to boast security, they'll probably have something that doesn't allow <object> usage (I use Firefox with NoScript, Eclipstice must be allowed by NoScript). Also, if Google Chrome doesn't have an application associated with embedded objects, it won't play (My Firefox is using a QuickTime plug in).
Holy cow, we're legal now.
...I just got this. Kanji, you can do better. :(

The embedded streaming is a pretty recent thing that I forgot to try out. (By the way, I set the height of the thing to 40 so we see whole buttons and the tracking bar.)
I vote song 2.

Well, Chrome seems to have no problems with the example .mid file you embedded earlier. That one opens / shows up in Quicktime. Not sure why it's being fussy over mp3s.
The height was so small because that's was about the size on the Quicktime playing strip for me. Guess I was being ignorant and assumed that everyone would have the same player, though. If the in-post players seem chopped off for anyone else, let us know and we can make 'em even bigger.
...I just got this. Kanji, you can do better. :(
But you can't, ho.
And o shi, tied once more

Anyways after just downloading them all individually I'm thinking of voting for song 2. gonna Have a few more listens though.

So I was expecting for someone to end the tie-breaker. Alas, it's still going on although the first one only has a single vote.
I'm probably gonna be the only one that voted for that song. Despite it being a very simple track, it has such a sweet melody.
Oh yeah, Opera plays the files fine. I think Safari was the one that didn't the first time around.

I thought the height was enough, but I guess QuickTime is a bit different. Your browser can have a different application assigned to MP3's and MIDI's. So it's possible that even though QuickTime is set to play MIDI objects, it might not be set to play MP3's.

Well I've decided to Vote on Song 2. I did like Song 1's simple melody too though. I found it relaxing.

I just want to say, I only chose song three because Klondike Bar was not an option. Let the record show that I will do anything for a Klondike Bar.

No idea why my Quicktime's acting up (seems to play and auto-stream mp3s fine on other websites). Guess I'll just use IE if needed. I always play the downloaded tracks anyway, so it's really not a problem for me in any case.
Anyway, here's the delicious song info:
