Are all the good 2008 releases already out?

Devil May Cry, Lost Odyssey, SSMB, some other things.. all I can imagine after them are sports games... OMG MADDEN 09 ON THA WAY, NIGGAZ

Yeah, that's just not good enough. What original, or at least good, games are on the way? Final Fantasy XIII's not out till December or whenever (due to impending postponements). I honestly don't see much else coming out this year.

If you know anything for upcoming 360 games especially, please let me know. I need reasons to save money... and make money.

But yeah, wow. I guess I didn't notice this, but you're right. With the release of the behemoth that is Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I don't know what to anticipate next. I might backtrack and snag a few releases I missed earlier this year/late last year (Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Ace Attorney Apollo Justice), but I don't have many plans for future releases.

I've got my eyes on Valkyria Chronicles (http://ps3.ign.com/objects/950/950634.html) for its gorgeous art direction and Fez (http://kotaku.com/359004/fez-gdc-trailer) for being simply mindblowing, but that's about it. I've also been anticipating Spore (http://www.spore.com/) ever since its first announcement a few years ago. Not sure how many of these I'll actually buy this year, but we'll see.

After Guitar Hero III & Rock Band, I don't know what else to look forward to on the 360 for a while. As for FFXIII, wouldn't be surprised if that stuff showed up in 2010 or something, after numerous delays.

It would be a little humiliating if '08 gaming already hit its pinnacle, but not totally unsurprising. Brawl is probably going down as the biggest release this year.

I've already hit up Guitar Hero III, and haven't heard much of anything else in the gaming news. There's a few commercials I see on TV with new video games coming out, but none of them look too interesting.

I must watch more Attack of the Show when I get the time.

Speaking of game-related commercials, aren't they woefully shoddy nowadays? I can't remember the last time I saw a video game commercial that made me want to buy the game. This totally happened with the original Super Smash Bros. for me, but recent commercials seem like obligatory rush-jobs to increase sales just by a little bit.

I remember that first commercial so well. I really wanted to get the game after I saw that, but didn't get a chance to. Luckily, my brother had bought it for his GameCube and then I got to have a go at it.

Spore.. ah yes. That should be really good, too. I figured it'd be after '08 the way they were talking about it though (i fail).

I saw a commercial for Tom Clancy's: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 last night though. Looked like the great follow-up Rainbow Six Vegas 1 fans were expecting and hoping for. Otherwise, I'm sticking to Kanji and I's combined first post.

I have started to lose interest in alot of video games as of lately and the commericalizing of videos games nowaday is pretty lame. Besides, I had put too much time into DW6 not to even care about any other games on the market. :/

Maybe there are winners on the way, after all? Ninja Gaiden 2's already out, of course, but the others were supposed to be hot 360 games. I can't really remember the basis of any of them, but apparently they made me wet (ha, wet. because one of the games is Wet), with me putting a list of them together and all, though.

Wet, man? It's my first time hearing about this. You'd think it would be some crazy Japanese 360 developer's (yeah, too bad these don't exist) answer to PC Hentai Games, but no... Turns out it's actually a game game. 1UP calls it Sierra's answer to Tomb Raider, and that's pretty much what it looks like to me. Meh. Awesome title aside, I'd pass even if I had a 360.

Force Unleashed had a pretty cool trailer that I saw sometime last year, and I'm sure it will be a solid Star Wars title, but I've personally never been into those. Fans'll probably eat it up, though.

I really haven't been seeing much that I'd put money down for. Lately I've been purchasing older games that I missed out on from years past.

edit: Holy shit, Metal Gear Solid 4 in a couple of months. We all fail as gamers for not mentioning this one sooner.

Oh yes. Perhaps an even more unnoticed advancement (this of course has nothing to do with releases this upcoming '08) is the following:In a recent GameSpot interview with Kojima, he was asked about a third installment of the game. His response was: "I've been getting questions about that, and I've pretty much counted each one as a demand...I'll be sure to count that one too." An even more recent interview describes Hideo Kojima as saying: "I want to make it, but I'm so busy with MGS4 that I have to focus on that right now." While no confirmations of a third game were made, the possibility of one has been brought to attention many times. Kojima has even stated that he "has an idea for the next Zone of the Enders game", which should please fans fearing that poor sales had put an end to the series.

Game in question is of course, Zone of the Enders. Now I'm left with tremendous hope for the third release.

On a very random note: Omfg, my entire body is fucking sore. Not playing volleyball for a couple of years really takes its toll on you. My poor arms. @_@

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the best damn game I have played in years. I cried manly tears as the spoiler spoilered down the spoiler and I spoilered at my spoiler, spoilering over and over agand, "SPOILER, SNAKE! AFTER ALL WE'VE SPOILERED YOU CAN'T SPOILER HERE YOU MOTHERSPOILER!"

I'm neutral towards consoles, and I admit the PS3 outside of MGS4 is fairly blah. Xbox 360 hasn't released dick compared to how amazing this game is.
